An Epic Journey

Last night we had our last youth group, it was sad, surreal, fun, and heart breaking. The night started out by having some pizza (before that we prayed for the family of a girl who had been coming to youth group who was murdered – that was such a shocker and is so sad). After that the kids had some games for Jenni and I to play. They had taken the grossest games I had made them play in the last few years and we played them – or should I say, we kicked butt at them. Honestly, I’ve still got it!
The whole night was great with kids telling us their memories, spending time worshiping, and it ended with a baptism.
Our youth group students are amazing! They collected an offering for Jenni and I that knocked my socks off. God has big things in store for our youth group and we are going to miss them so much. It was really hard to say good bye to them and to walk out of the youth room one last time.
Today, we move to Andover…
