Labor Day Really Begins Tomorrow…
Mon, Sep 1, 2008
So, Jenni hasn’t had the baby yet, which means that her labor day begins at 5:30 in the am (she’s due to be induced). A few insights into my feelings from this side of baby Peters arrival:![]()
- I feel like I’m on the edge of the first big drop on a roller coaster! All nervousy tinged with crazy excitement!
- Hopeful that I won’t faint or puke (although when the placenta came out on the video in Lamaze class - I nearly lost the whole enchilada)
- Can’t wait to meet Peter! I have been teaching him the “High Five & Pound It” - can’t wait to do it in person (between you and me I think Jenni’s belly is getting a little sore from all the high fives…). Here is a link on how to throw the perfect High Five - I hope it helps some of you out! Pound It - “Used to express joy after something good happens. By pounding fists together with a friend.”
- Excited to see Jenni be a mom! She’s gonna be so great at it!
I will try and update you tomorrow from the delivery room, they have wireless & I have a computer! Hmmm… I wonder how Jenni will feel with me giving a play by play on my blog while she is in the midst of labor? Probably honored & excited to be broadcast over the worldwide inter-web and to have so much attention given to her! Ha.
Well, signing off till tomorrow.
-Kent Alexander Wagner
