An Epic Journey

I’m sure many of you may have questions about how someone goes about developing a church from two people to, well, more than two. Well, let’s have a look-see at that question:

Jenni and I plan on hitting the ground running. We are going to do everything we can to meet people. We will be taking cookies to our neighbors, playing on intramural sports teams, get involved with parents as teachers, meeting people through internet portals and any other social medium we can think of.  We will seek out any way we can get to know people.

Another part of our strategy will be to determine businesses and non-profit organizations that are working with the demographic we are targeting and see if there are ways we can be of benefit to them (See my post on community outreach ideas).  All of this will be done in the hopes of developing a launch team (a group of individuals who are sold out to the mission and vision and willing to take the risk of seeing what God will do).
