An Epic Journey

Another step in the strategy to plant Epic Church is to become involved in the community at an organizational level.  This means finding events and activities that Epic Churches launch team can get involved in through service.  We will hand out bottles of water, give out balloons to children, serve where ever we possibly can.  We will get involved with Rec Commissions if possible, YMCA’s, Community days, etc.  The idea is that we will be as much a part of the community as we can.

One of the philosophies that will drive what we will do with Epic Church is that as a church we need to be involved in the life of our community, injecting the Gospel into the various opportunites that arise through that involvement.  I believe that Jesus intended for the church to be a purveyor of grace right where people live and do business and that is how we intend to do business as a church!
