Aviator Church First Preview Service a Success!!!

Aviator Curch in Derby had their first preview service today and it was a huge success. Jenni and I have been praying for Joe and Michelle and all of their launch team as they have been gearing up for this weekend and the weeks and months to come! A preview service is an event where your church service is taken public on a monthly basis. It allows you to take the time to get to know people and to work out bugs. It is a great way to start towards the goal of launching large (something I will be commenting about in future blogs).
Aviator Church has been doing a spectacular job of being involved in the community and sharing the love of Jesus in a practical way! Today they had 164 people in their preview service and had 15 confirmed decisions to follow Christ!!! What an amazing day!
Planting a church is full of blood, sweat and heartache - I’m sure Joe and Michelle would be the first to tell you that it’s a school of hard knocks. Â Â But on days like today, when the Kingdom of God forcefully advances on the gates of hell, it seems like everything comes together and the fruit of the hard times bears itself out!
What an encouragement! Please pray, with Jenni and I, for Aviator Church to continue to make a huge dent in the spiritual landscape of Derby. People need Jesus and new churches are providing new and varying opportunities for them to find Him, it’s as simple as that!!!

Thanks for he nice review. Clearly this is a movement of God and He gets all the glory in our start. I know that God is doing amazing things here and I have every confidence that God will do grand things through Epic Church. We are praying for you guys and thrilled to watch your progress. I pray people support your efforts greatly and we see Epic go even bigger than Aviator!
