An Epic Journey

Boy, Last night, Jenni and I were driving to KC. She was sleeping next to me and I was driving and listening to my iPod. I looked up, and there was this huge dark cloud to the northwest. We ended up driving in the worst storm I have ever driven in. We couldn’t go above 30 miles an hour, lightning flashing all around (several times it was close enough that it literally blinded me for a few seconds and I just had to trust that straight was the right direction.). It was pretty crazy. I swear it had a hug wall cloud on the southeast side of the storm. We drove for probably 30 minutes in the storm and then it was gone. We got passed by some crazy semi’s that must have been talking to one another, because all three of them zoomed by at like 50 mph when I couldn’t see at 20mph (and I was passing people). It was pretty scary.
