An Epic Journey

Yesterday, Jenni and I went to Salina to interview with CEA of Kansas (they are a church planting organization that would support Jenni and I on this venture of planting a new church). Jenni and I had both talked about how tight money has been lately and how we didn’t really know how we would pay for the trip, since gas is so much right now. We decided to just trust God and do it because we really need this support. Anyway. Thursday in the mail, we opened a letter from St. Catherine’s Hospital and found a check for $76 inside. There was no explanation of why we got the check, just a short letter saying that we needed to cash it right away!

I think the trip ended up costing us nearly $70 or so in gas and food! God is so good and his timing impeccable, He provides in ways you couldn’t even imagine. I am so grateful for every little gift he gives!

PS – our interview went really good from our perspective. We should know within a month whether they hire us or not. If they do choose to hire us, they will provide Jenni & I’s salary for the first 3 years! Please pray for these men as they decide whether or not to support us & Epic Church. Every step like this is one step closer to providing a church for people who are disconnected and far from God!
