Jenni and I stopped in Wal-Mart today to talk with a friend from Bible Christian today. She was telling us how she had grown up at BCC (she has been there since a baby) and remembers going to Church in an old school building before the church had its own building. It was interesting to talk about the Legacy of Faith that BCC has had. How Bible Christian had once been a new Church with hopes and dreams and fears all of her own.

I am encouraged to be a part of a group of people who carry on that legacy of faith to this day! Jenni and I have been embraced by our friends and family at BCC when they very easily could have turned their backs and said, “fuh-ee (I have no idea how to spell that) on you!” We have experienced the exact opposite - we have had only encouragement and pledged support. I only hope that as Jenni and I step out and carry the legacy of faith with us, that we do honor to those who are sending us! I could not have chosen a better place to carry out the last 6 years of growing in ministry and life!
