It has long been understood that many people will simply not engage in something as a regular discipline unless they understand the importance of it. Prayer as a passionate and regular discipline of the life of the believer is lacking severely in many churches and lives today. We must renew our commitment to prayer in the understanding that it is vital to our personal growth as believers and for the mission of the church as a whole. It refocuses our attention on God and forms a lifeline to our lover, God. Further, God has determined that prayer can be and will be effective when it is in accordance with his will, and that some things simply will not happen unless we approach him in prayer. Join us as we renew our commitment to being people of prayer.
