Below you will find the current employment openings at Epic Church of Wichita Kansas. Epic Church is a new church start that began September of 2009. Our mission is simple – we want to connect people to God, one person at a time. We take this very serious and are only looking for applicants who can embody what it means to actually draw people into a relationship with God in a way that honors each person, not just crowds. This does not mean that crowds are not important, what it means is that we take it as an imperative that we do the hard work of coming up with innovative and creative ways to engage the individual in means that help them get connected to the Savior! We believe that all Christ-followers need to exhibit the 3C’s - Celebration of God on a regular basis, Connecting with people – both followers of Christ and the disconnected, and Contributing our time, talents and treasures.
In staff we are looking for for people who exhibit:
- Spiritual Velocity (growing closer to Jesus on a daily basis)
- Teachability (humility and a strong ability to learn no matter how familiar we are with a subject)
- Relational Intelligence (understand the importance of people in the big picture and their lives reflect it)
- Self-Leader (all leaders need outside influence, but this person doesn’t wait for that, they see their weaknesses and seek resources through books, audio, conferences, coaching, etc. in order to better themselves)
